What is the reality of the situation?- I was initially considering a made-up narrative about a character, but this prompt made me think about myself and what my reality is like and the things that I constantly think about in my life but never address, which is why I based my entire narrative off my age and how it has and continues to affect me.

A line has two sides- I pulled this strategy card as I was building the site. The way I interpreted this was that nothing has to be linear and even the things that may seem like they only flow one way can always go the other way. That is why I wrote the quote on this page backwards to make the viewers start to read things in a differenht way and see things from both ends. To hint the viewers into reading it backwords, I added a full stop at the beginning and capitalized the last word.

Use an old idea- I always thought animated hyperlinks would be a fun addition to websites, but never really got around to using it before, which is why I incorporated a bit of javascript on the website and animated the numbers 19 and 21 on the home page.

Emphasise the flaws- As a graphic designer, I always consider the positioning of every single element in a layout and am always bothered by small overlaps or things that catch my eye. I tried to let go of that instinct and placed the numbers in the background as haphazardly and random as I could. I also placed random question marks in the background that aren't attached to numbers (it still bothers me.) Additionally, to further emphasise the flaw, I also changed the numbers when you move across the two ages (19 , 21) in the same positioning as the home page even if the overall layout does not look balanced. Even the quote that is written backwords (hence flawed) is emphasized by adding different colors with decreasing value to the last words.

Always first steps- This prompt made me think about how everything begins somewhere which in turn, made me think about how important history is when giving context to narratives. Hence, even though my narrative is about what being 19 feels feels like, there is a lot of history and back-story throughout the narrative that tie all the way back to when I was 12.
